Update

Just got to pop in for an update. Finally got pretty much all the utilities moved over to the new house.....thats the good news. Bad news.....seems everyone else wants to get rid of the cable internet that i've worked so hard to establish and go with wireless internet ISP. This, I am not too happy about . I've never used wireless. I don't want to use wireless. Seems i'm outvoted so....I have to risk it.

Anywho, not sure when this is getting disconnected and the new installed.....so hopefully within the next day or two I'll be able to get back and play. It's gonna be real interesting to see how much I lose or gain with the new system.

If anything your ping will just be a bit higher...wireless usually does that.

Wireless is fine... If you play the game on a desktop PC you can hardwire that straight from the router. And the router will still send out the wireless signal to laptops ect.

We have wireless DSL and I use the hardwire for my Desktop and wife uses wireless for the laptop. No issues at all with it.

If you use a laptop ask the cable guy to leave you a long enough ethernet cable so you can hardwre the laptop when you want to play or buy one a wally-world for about $15 for 15ft.

I had to buy a 100 ft ethernet cable. It was expensive. The sad thing is I only needed about 55 ft. The only choice I had was 50ft or 100 Ft

Don't buy ethernet cables at the store...they are WAYYYY cheaper online. I got a 20 footer from Amazon ( a good one too) for like $4, including shipping...Walmart is around a dollar a foot it seems, on average.

I agree with Eric. Or just haggle one from the IT guy at school like I did. Lol
