Re: mia
Nice to have you back Kevin.
And yes, Coffee my fellow North Dakotans in Minot are experiencing flooding like the city I live in, Bismarck, which is 120 miles to the south. My sister and brother in law live in Minot. He runs a barbershop which is going to be under around 7 feet of water. She works as a hair stylist at a salon that is also going to be under many feet of water. They are going to be out of work for a month or possibly more.
The ad agency where I work has an office in Minot, it also is going to be under a wall of water and a number of my coworkers from that office are in the flood evacuation area. It is so sad.
It is taking an immense toll on many of my friends. Here is a link to a friend of mine's home.

It looks like his family is going to lose everything. It is one of the many homes I had helped build dikes and sandbag around. It is exhausting mentally and physically for these people. I have to say again, I thank God that I live in an area that is not going to be affected. I can only lend my back and truck. It is a helpless feeling. I can only imagine what these and the many others that live along the Missouri are feeling.
I ask again for any prayers that you all can say for these people affected by this flooding.

Wow, that is horrible to hear (and see) OM!!
Will certainly pray for your family and co-workers and that God will help the recovery to be smooth (and hopefully better than what they lost) ... Most importantly is that they are safe.

I'll be praying. I saw Minot on the news today. Very sad.

I heard about it several times on the radio today, I'll be praying as well. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose your home to a flood ( or a tornado or whatever).
