Going someplace WARM
Hi folks just a note to let you know that I won't be on after Wednesday for 2 weeks. A buddy of mine and I are going to Arizona to hit some of the car shows and warm up a little... This -30f and -40f weather is for the birds... or something! Anyway have fun, stay warm and I'll see ya'all when I get back.

Have a fun and safe trip Fred. I know what you mean about birds and -30 and -40 degree temps. That is what we normally have this time of year. But for some reason we are in the banana belt this year. It was 54 yesterday. After the last two winters I will take it without complaint.
Enjoy the warmth.

Via - LOL.
Hey Fred, take care partner and have a safe trip out to Arizona. I dont know how you folks can take that cold weather like that, my goodness, just looking at the temp makes me cold. Anyway, warm up in Arizona and depending on what part of Arizona you go to, maybe you can see the Grand Canyon!
God bless you

Have a safe trip. I'll be off for a week or so starting the 18th. Going to the Bahamas for my B'day. Late gift from the wife. It's really for her too I guess.

Re: Going someplace WARM
For sure Troop for sure. That was awful man. I still dont know what the final body count is but thats just because I have not looked at it again. So sad and it looks like the Captain of the ship is in some pretty hot water himself as he probably should be but also, those cruise lines always look for a scape goat when something like this happens. They never want to admit or indicate that anything within their ships equipment could have possibly be at fault.
Anyway, hope you have a safe cruise Trooper. God be with you and your family. Not being funny about that either, I wish you well sir. God bless.

Re: Going someplace WARM
Well guys I made it back myself so hello to all. I had a great time, saw a LOT of fancy cars, Barrett Jackson is an awesome show with over 2000 cars not to mention ALL the other auctions and shows in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. My "wheeling" buddy even picked up a new ride, a 31 Ford model A five window coupe. It's an all steel 81 year old car that is setup as a Hot Rod with a small block 350 Chevy LS1 engine, 350 Auto trans and a corvette rear end, nice car for $17500. Anyway this summer aught to be a kick after we get this thing shipped back up here.

Re: Going someplace WARM
well hey Fred, nice to hear that you also had a good vacation. I just want to know something though, why didn't you and your buddy drive the rod back to AK. That would have been a sweet story to follow.

Re: Going someplace WARM
Well Oldman it would have been a little dicey trying to drive that beast up here with the tires that are on it and because it doesn't have a heater! Also Via I did look for a copy of UO at the local Game Stop but they didn't have one, I'd had to drive down to Tuson to get one but we were going the other way so I'll work on getting one a different way.
