Memorial Day 2012

Post by [WoF]BG.Terminator on Tue May 22, 2012 2:32 pm

To all those who are serving in the military, who have served, and for all those who gave their lives for our freedom, I salute you! God be with you all.

As did I, but once I figured them out and stopped looking dumb by asking what people where talking about I like em a little more...the Air Force figures it saves time...They are usually 3 letters, which is confusing when its only for 2 words

We (the USPS) are as bad as any other branch of government when it comes to acronyms. I work with PCTS to facilitate RFPs in order to fully satisfy an SOW, that is, unless it is a CP SOW, then we have to vett it through OIG or PIS (that's one S, not what you are thinking) for a balanced CP. Then I have to use TMOS, PCTS, CFA, and NPCTS to manage and track all activities.

Shocked

Happy Memorial Day!!

haha Termi, sounds like my work lol.

I actually started a spreadsheet of acronyms that I am STILL adding to just so I can remember everything. I think I'm at about 95... and that's not counting all the 'acronyms' of all buildings/areas called by number in the plant, as well as all equipment.

It's insane.
