Computer Parts and Componets / Tech Support

Post by {MsM}GOA.Pun on Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:29 pm

Guys please remember too that I have just about anything you might need to upgrade/repair your current computer systems. I have new motherboards of all types, CPU's of all types, RAM, Hard drives, High end laser keyboard and mice combos, Head sets with mic, desktops speaker sets, Monitors and whatever else you might need or want.

My prices are very reasonable and negotiable as well. I have brand new parts to throughly tested used parts with warranties so if you need something along the computer line, please give me a chance to help you first.

I am committed to my customers and will do whatever it takes to help. I can also offer online technical support for any problems or upgrade issues you may have as well.

Thanks fellows and God bless each of you. Pun

Sure. If you want one that will play just about anything, even the new games such as Cyris 2 and monster 1st shooter games, go with any card that has a great review with a least one gig dedicated and is a DDR5. The DDR3 is very good but if you want the latest and greatest, go with DDR5 for now and it will not have to be upgraded for a long time UNLESS some company gets way off base and comes out with a game they cannot sell because of the graphics requirements. That may be a broad answer but it is the best I can give from my view point.

Badger can help you out with more detail though. He is on!

The AMD radeon HD 6800 series is a very very good start for sure. About $150.00 if you can find one new or anything Radeon HD. You will not be disappointed I promise.

So far, I have not run into any issues with older PC's on that card as long as you meet the minimum requirements as far as CPU speed and available ram. You do need a PCI x 16 slot for the card so the first thing is to make sure you have that slot available on your motherboard and then make sure you have a CPU (Processor) that will handle it and then the available ram. Then you need to look at your power supply, I have run that graphics card on a 350 watt psu but I do recommend a minimum of 450 watt psu (power supply.)

Currently I am running a 650 watt supply with 12 gigs and a quad core CPU and the card does great with some very awesome graphics.

If you want to, download this:

PC Wizard 2012 or even the 2013 version, but I prefer the 2012 over the 2013 because it seems that a lot of software is changing this year drastically and the 2013 version I have not tested so, download the PC Wizard and then post your "System Results" and we can help you much better with a vid card fit.

Thanks and God bless you Pho.
