SGC problem

Post by Radish* on Thu Sep 24, 2009 8:51 pm

Hey guys, just thought I should report that I was just playing on your server and about 4-5 SGC members showed up as they frequently do. However this time many of them were spamming and shouting profanities. Shifty showed up and told them to watch their language but they pretty much heckled him and kept spamming.
It made me think of a bunch of 13 year olds at a birthday party and was pretty lame. I know that typically you guys don't stand for that kind of behavior and thought you should know that it was enough to make me want to play somewhere else for a change.

I am sorry about that radish. But as ya know,we cant give everyone rcon and they know it.i am not able to be on as much as i would like.i wish you would have gottten there names.I would have banned them all.Any time ur on and they start that stuff,if you wouldnt mind get a screen shot and Pm it to Frank,Pun or Myself and we will take care of them.we wont let them know you sent them.Again i am sorry for the actions of SGC.we know they are not a very respectful bunch of folks. And they know we are,so They just act out to try to make folks on our server mad.God Bless Bud and Thanks for the Info.

I would be very interested in who those members are. If they are being disrespectful on Marns, I would see that it is dealt with severely. SGC does not condone that behavior.

Hey pinhead,i appreciate ya der Buddy.Shifty said 2 of them were Asin and Barbarian.I did ban Asian as he came on this evening,i dont like banning anyone, but that is something i will not tolerate.we dont disrespect anyone in any way.I will ban my own members for the same thing, weather it be on our server or on someone elses.I have Been around SGC for about 3 years.I was in 31st for over a year.I try to be fair to you guys and everyone else that plays on MsM.I have never disrespected anyone, and will not let folks ruin the fun that everyone has on my servers.Myself and my Admins have worked very hard to be a respected, non hacking ,non bull crap clan. again i appreciate ya. God bless

Yes, Asian and Barbarian were the main ones spamming / cursing / making lewd comments. In my opinion though there were several other members of SGC that were on as well and weren't, in any way, trying to get those two to settle down. In my opinion that is just as bad as carrying out that behavior themselves.
I'll make sure to get some screen shots next time however Very Happy

I will pass on the info to their Squad Leaders, and also make Merc, aware. And Asian has already informed me he was banned and didnt know why. LOL. I told him to register and post on MsM forums, hopefully it is an apology. Yes SS would be great. We try to base all severity on SS, so a SS could have meant banishment from SGC, or a temp ban. We will take care of this. Thank you Marn, your integrity was never in question here, you have a great reputation amongst the seasoned players. God Bless MsM and SGC.

lol you said your binds dont have these profanities in them,BUT if I Used them on accident. How could you use them if you dont have them???????Shifty has the screenshot of them.i havnt looked at them. But I will. I do not have so many rules that it's impossible to abide by them in game.No Cursing, hacking, Glitching, and No racial slurs. This = respect.Thats it.Not so hard.

Only thing left is in the original statement, there was 4-5 SGC members, I must say after much inquiry, I have come up with just two.

Bottom Line here is these boys need to respect the server and respect Shifty's request to do so. I have alot of SGC friends that I love to play with and have fun wth on the server and of course very respectful players. Let's not let this mess that up.

Re: SGC problem

Post by Radish* on Wed Oct 07, 2009 2:09 pm

My memory is that there was only a few that were using curse words / derogatory statements, however, there were at least 5 SGC members on at that time and not one of them attempted to correct or reprimand the behavior that was going on, which in my opinion is as bad as saying those statements themselves.
I think that those who were responsible apologized and I haven't seen any other behavior like this coming from SGC, that was the main point of this post.
Thanks for resolving this issue.

Hey brother, we really appreciate your concern regarding this situation and it is our hope that it has been indeed resolved at least for a while anyway. It seems that these transitive verbs are somewhat seasonal and usually done by the immature players however, there is no excuse for this type of behavior. When someone actually types out a foul word then they have had plenty of time to think about what they are chatting, we will always strive to keep the MsM servers free from this kind of language and ensure respect for all that play on them. Thanks again RadishUp.
