A Moded Server

Hello fellas,I havn't been able to het on the forums lately due to some kind of connection error or something. But The last time I was on,we had kind of a discussion about Server Mods. I havn't talked to Pun or frank about it,But I'm sure they will be in agreement with me on this. I have asked vixon to put MsM a server up or a Trial server.It will be a moded server.What My question is.What Kind of Mods do you guys wnat on it.I hardly play any more so it's what you guys like.There was taslk of a All weapons Mod.Yo where you can use any countries weapon on any map.Listen,there are a lot of MOds you can put into play oon maps.tell vixon here what you would like to see on the server.He is a pretty smart cookie and has many mods he say's.So let him know guys.I have agreed to pay it up for 6 months in advance if it is to our liking. Chain saw mod, the chain saw I have is a bash weapon, no sound or anything, It came from a zombie mod I have.

But I will keep a eye on this thread, so I can lobby suggestions here and there, and await the final idea

I want to sink the ship... with nitro and TNT, just like Will E Coyote, whatever you can get for me!

i would like modern weapons, but thats just me

- Would we have to download all these ourself and assign them, ow will "Allow Downloading" do it for us?

I like the modern weapons idea. It really changes the game. Tried it on UO and enjoyed it.

There is a server on UO that has all of the original CoD weapons plus modern weapons. There are 6 scoped modern rifles 6 modern sub mgs and 6 regular modern mgs. and 6 original mg/s There are heavy guns (BAR and some modern heavy guns. and all the bolts and semi auto's it has a 9mm and when you hit "M" it changes the pistol to shotgun. Oh and you have knives to throw. and C4 for the Coyote fans... lol/

Oh and i like the bleed out mod

When is this server going to be up and running.

Once I set it up, after we nail down a mod.

It appears Modern Weapons is a taker for right now?

vixen i was looking at some videos on you tube and i came across one from a 2010 that you made with a paint ball mod. looked kind of cool

i really wish someone could find that bomber mod for UO. that was the hottest server on UO back in the day. You were a priveledged lil fella to even get on the server.

Bomber Mod?

Yes a Bomber plane mod. I looked everywhere for it. Some said they remembered it, but I cant find it. It was on UO Base Assault. You had to be at a high rank(70 points or more i think) before you could get in and fly it, but it was a 2 man bomber plane that you could fly around and bomb the bases with. It was awesome! The server stayed full 24/7.

It was a blast for sure! We used to chat "Pilot to co-pilot! Come in co-pilot" of course you could get shot down hehehe. I could land it after being shot down and jump out b4 it exploded. Had a good friend named "Big target" back then who knew how to have fun with the game. When we played 1.3 CTF u wld spawn with 3 nades, he would set 100(literally) trips in our spawn area and when the spawn flipped the enemy wld spawn in a bone curling flame of distruction lol!

Judging by the looks of all of this, Modern Weapons has been the winner. I will grace over a couple other suggestions so that you know it has not been over looked

Standard call of duty only allows a certian number of weapons to be used (68 I think - It also counts SP weapons), therefore most modern weapons are remakes for the stock ones. I have experminted in the past and there is away to change this, but there was never enough of a draw to bother with the time it would consume to re-write the entire game coding.

I do have a C4 mod of a sorts, never really did much with it

This can be done, my modern mod actually had quite a nice bleed out mod...

I do still have the B50 Paintball mod, however it is large, and I was in the process of breaking it down, but the project was abandond before it was finished. It could be resructed, however it would be some time since it would be finished. (I do have a replacement Modding Base computer again thanks to someone after mine was "Thunderstruck" ) If we decide to go with this, I would suggest later down the line.

As I mentioned before, this is a bash weapon, however I might be able to implement this later on in a diffrent mod

LOL, but the ship is such a awesome map for my foretea (rifles) anyways I will get a list of maps up on here, and you all can send suggestions to. I will make several map packs for ease of use.

This depends, if this is going to be a 1.3 server so it would take for EVERRRR to download everything. My plan is to create a .exe file which will custom install the required items for you, and also create a zip file that you can download and self install for the ones with .exe mistrust Plus allowing downloading opens the server to being hacked on 1.3

MUSIC!!!! I know what is in my mod currently, but any suggestions or requests.. Lets have them. Also ingame images (pictures posters etc) I figure I will swap some of the stuff out to VCod advertisement pack I have if nothing else, and scrall MsM weblink on there too

Give me ideas... I can ushally run with them..

I think some signs/pictures on the server would be funny from this thread. The pictures of some of our members would be fun to see around the map.
