Dissapointed with clan. Unwanted circumstances put on me.

Alright first thing first, i dont want anybody to be a critic on my words, im posting this here to spark some thinking amongst the clan members, and to state something true and unwanted upon what is becoming of me and what I think of the clan. Please do not reply to me directly in this post because i really do not know if i will be looking at it again due to my activity or membership in the clan.

My circumstances: Recently a high school graduate, i am called to many duties in the world of becoming an adult. My time is deeply taken because of my plans for college, and also my normal daily life. My college plans are taking a huge toll on my activity playing cod and any other game. I just do not have the time to be as dedicated as i could be to participate in the MsM clan. I am in a phase where my adult life is starting and i need to act accordingly. There is not enough time for me to play as many games, i just need to focus on more important things, everybody has these times. But as in my daily life and persuit of leisure has drawn me away from cod as i have recently purchased cod4 and am planning to purchase cod modern warfare2 when it comes out in november. My reasoning will be deeply explained in the next paragraph, along with my other concern, a concern that should be read with full attention, by the mods and gens of this clan, and anybody else that has concerns with their time and clan activity.

My deep concerns are based on what i really think this clan is run on. I do not wish to brag in any way shape or form, and plan on not caring about what people respond to this specific aspect of my letter, but i deeply think, and have quite sufficent evidence to beleive that i was one of the best players in this clan. Please keep in mind what i have stated before what you will disagree with


I have acted a fair, friendly and respectful player throughout my career in MsM, maybe my beginnings were a little harsh with language and temper control, but who does not get angry at any video game? Being a player of this type of status i have room to think and to respond to the deeper parts of the clan community. This is the first clan i have ever joined in any game and it was good, until i have realized that this clan is based on quantity not quality. I may over rate how important the ranking system is in the game, but myself as a player and according to what i understand as what went into determining the rank of a player, i have been deeply overlooked. I assume that this is based on what i have stated earlier, quantity over quality (you determine what is more impoartant but this is what i think) i deeply believe that the MsM clan wants to be big and well known. I cannot see any reasoning to lead to this desire by the generals of the clan. I do not have enhough time or dedication to read your responses why you need quantity. I know this is just a game, but a clan is community, you meet friends and make relations between this type of thing, and if people are acting in a way that does not respect any individual, i know that many do not think to seek any problem like this, but it definitley has effected me as you can see. I do not agree with what this clan wants, with with the founders and the respectable perticipants want, i have felt quite left out and ignored. This is not entirely based on my rank please do not think it is. I have made few but memorable and worthy relations between certain members of this clan, but i believe that everybody should be tight knit with and aware of the their fellow clan members.
To conclude this piece of my discussion i want to state that i do not see that this clan wants to be friendly with the individual, and to uphold my reasoning that this clan wants numbers, and nothing else. This can not be a clan for me, and for others who think like me, because it is quite unfair and neglecting to the human soul.

In my full conclusion:
I just do not have enough time to dedicate to this clan and game, but most importantly, i have been treated unfairly and extremely overlooked within a personal and quantitative status within this clan, in the statistics that involve participation, skill, friendliness, and dedication. my personal activity, along with what i have stated concerning the desires of the clan, have caused me to think about quitting. I have a gravely important reason to quit this, but clan without knowing that i will not be wanted among the ranks of you players, but i will definatley not be kicked, fired, thrown out or rejected based on my beliefs.

I call the duty upon the highly respectable General Marn, and Frank, to determine my outcome within this prediciment, but the duty rests upon any high ranking player to give me the word, as i will not be very active on this site or game due to my personal issues and goals that i strive to achieve.

God bless everyone, i hope that you all solve your problems that you may have, and that you start to think of every individual in an important way, a way that will help you all become better people. A strong hard salute to all players!

Well sir I will speak directly to you. You have stated quite a mind full of sentiment here and that is for sure. I certainly dont want to make you think that I have taken offense of what you have posted or give you any false feeling that I have become defensive toward your post either however, I totally disagree with pretty much everything you have said here. We are a very close bunch of guys and if you would have spent more time with us on vent and been more active on the MsM servers then I feel that you would know this to be the absolute truth. You have missed so much in just the little while that you have been absent and we have come a long way as a clan. We are not merely looking for numbers and even more so not so much interested in the quality of skill of a potential member but their shear willingness to grow with the MsM clan as a whole. I will speak of course for myself but I feel like most if not all of the clan pretty well feels this to be the case... We ALL have WORKED VERY HARD and yes it has been a true work in progress, much was changed, many mistakes were made but corrected and the corrections came not just from the MsM Admin or Officers but by EACH AND EVERY CLAN MEMBER that was present to weigh in on the situations and operations of the MsM servers and clan. And with that I must ask, where were you sir during these times. I stand by my fellow Admin, Officers, Nco's. Sgt's. Cpl's, Specialist Pfc's and Pvt's and the whole MsM clan and they have ALL stood by me. I cannot see from looking at your post or topics on the MsM forums or by looking at your server activity levels as to where you have been overlooked in the least brother. The MsM Admin and Officers have worked hard to make sure that all have gotten what they deserve based on their participation and willingness to grow with the MsM clan and of course the experience that the member was able to offer the clan is a factor. I am sorry that you feel this way about our clan but again I speak for myself. I am so very proud of this clan and ALL its members and the work that we ALL have accomplished. It seems to me very odd and unfounded that you would feel this way about us because we are ALL about respecting others and brother hood here my friend. We discuss things about our lives with each other all the time. You can do as you wish and of course that is your right but please dont down the clan and then tell us as you have in your post of how good you feel to have been a part of the "Great MsM" clan or maybe you were being a little sarcastic and I just missed it. Never the less, you are always welcome here and you will be a part of this yes Great clan and BROTHERHOOD until you decide to do something to prevent that or you decide to leave. This is your decision. I would like for ALL the MsM clan to post your thoughts here RESPECTFULLY. Are we a jumbled up bunch of trigger pullers or do we have something unique going on? Well Czerwonymike, I did not see your post in the promotions section until I had already posted a reply in the site&discussion section concerning your other post. So I must speak my mind here also. It has become increasingly easier for me over the years as an admin or officer to be able to recognize when someone has a problem with me but insist on misdirecting it for what ever reason toward people in close proximity to me. It is always a dead give away when someone such as yourself has these things to say or post and calls the other admin by name in a good tone but then when they must use my name it is in a derogatory manner. Look brother, let me just say this to you. The only thing I have ever tried to do here is what I was expected to do and that was the job that Marn gave me. Marn is a very smart and a fairly shred man when it comes to handling certain matters because he knows how to place people in key positions to take care of the things he needs handled. I stepped up to the plate for him and in the mean time became very good acquaintances with Frank, Gman and many others here at MsM. I have been given a certain criteria and instructions to see that it is meet and that is exactly what I have done. I have been so criticized for doing what I think and most others think of as a pretty darn good job. Just when MsM begins to get really organized, situated and the bugs begin to get worked out then so many want to jump ship up and leave....Hum I find that very odd and I have ask myself.., what were their true intentions to begin with because everything is so much smoother now and they leave.????? Maybe some dont like it because I have been put in the position I am in as a General or maybe they dont like the way that I have done things here??? Maybe they wanted my position but on that I must say that it has been and is A LOT of work and I mean a lot. Maybe that is it in its self, well I am sorry if I have not been able to meet everyones needs as they think I should have or done everything the way that they wanted it but I have done everything I could do so that the MsM servers would be a clean place to have some gametime/fun and for players to have some respect and also what I could do that was for the betterment of the MsM clan and ALL its members. But I know I can forget about getting the vote from the majority on that because it has always been that way and it will always be that way. You work your heart out to help and try to make something better for everyone and when it TRULY is then some people just have to knock you for it. That really bothers me deeply. There are a lot of young ones out here on the net playing cod and the only thing that people like me, Marn, Frank, Gman, Moore and pretty well darn most all of the people in the MsM clan have tried to do is be a better example for the young guys to follow and to show them that not everyone out here is about the foul language, the cheating/hacking and the disrespecting of other human beings. We have been so nice to EVERYONE and this is what we get for it. Now I am ill so I will close before I jeopardize my own position with my superiors. But remember this my man, EVERYTHING this ole boy has done was done in a sincere attempt to help everyone and only a handful really see it that way. The reality is that no matter what you do as an admin, there is no way to please everyone and regardless of how composed you are, Punish, there will always be at least one person who doesn't appreciate or understand what it takes to be in your position.
I, for one, think that being in an accepting clan, regardless of size, is a privilege and all the work that goes on "behind the scenes" is very much appreciated by most of us in the clan.
The trick is to see this for what it is and I think you've accomplished that Punish.

I need to see more replies by the clan members... I am still pretty split about my decision.

well my thoughts are that the clan has grown so much so fast that there is no way for each person to know every other person on a personal level and pay attention to absolutely every member all the time. i would like to say props to you for being such a good player of the game. but in all honesty wether or not you stay with the clan is your decision and a decision only you can make. unless you did something completely off the wall to get banned or kicked from the clan. us admin try to keep up with all the clan members on a regular basis. but you have to remember that we all have real lives to, we all have families and jobs that are more important than a game. we have just learned to split our time between work and family and a game. yes i know its just a game but like you said its a community and as others have stated a brotherhood, a brotherhood and community we have all chosen to become a part of. you just have to learn how to split your time between playing and real life. i feel that you dont have to get on the website or server every day to stay active, but atleast get on every few days even if its just for maybe one round or just to say hi or wutever. thats all i have to say as of right now.

Should you choose to leave this "Brotherhood", a brotherhood I have become quite fond of, I will understand your decision. Were I to have my time taxed in such a way then I to would find it hard to remain as active.


However, I have been in Punishment's position myself and must align my sympathies with his: In that no matter how much work you put in it will only be noticed and truly appreciated by a select few, often those who have been in the same position.


The fact you feel you are being overlooked is perhaps mostly from the fact that you feel you are entitled to something more than your receiving.
This assumption is false in nature and destructive in practice, not only to others but to yourself especially.

The fact is that to be ignored is to be allowing people to ignore you. That this is your first clan is abundantly clear if you complain that you didn't get ranked up just because you were present, or played alot.

I have been in several clans over the years and I chose this clan upon the bases of the fellowship and closeness of brotherhood. So your statement is simply not true.

The harsh truth is that to make friendships you must put effort into them and these circumstances were not put on you by your clan, but by you.

And don't think Punishment caused this, He didn't lash out at you and he didn't just ban you immediately, this shows that he is actually the kind soul i know him to be.

Punishment is a good admin, and I support him because of it.

I want to apologize deeply, and simply say that i have learned many things because of this discussion. I have too high of expectations for everything that i am involved with putting my time into. But because of this discussion it has been proven to me that MsM is worth my time. I may have to get involved with what i would like to be done, but i will be happy to now.

There is no use in saying that my words were not totally based on my rank, or even Punishment. I was actually surprised that Punishment replied in the way he did, it made me realize i had really spoken without thinking, without knowing the full circumstances.

I will stay active within this clan, as far as i am realistically allowed to, and I am happy to know the real side of some people.
I have a request though, it won't effect my decision to stay or go, but it would be a good thing for me to not have a rank, or to not be subjected to show it in the servers. I hope this is a simple request that can have a simple answer. Thank you everyone and god bless

Well God bless you Czerwonymike, we welcome you once again to our brotherhood and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart lad. You are a very interesting person and I like that very much. Good character indeed!! Please understand that the MsM guidelines are what they are and that means you must wear you rank just as everyone else. It is a rank that you have earned and it was not given to you in vain. I personally hope that you can accept that and I look so very forward to discussing different suggestions that you may have while in vent. Please Czerwonymike understand and know that there are no hard feelings inside of me for what we have discussed here.
