I gotta build a old computer.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say that I figured out why I can't get on COD. It's cause I have a too powerful of a video card. And my video card wont run it. I thought i could just have an awesome computer, with a T3 direct line coming to my house, new turtle beach head set, game pad, and track ball mouse. But no cod has to be a 10 year old game! But anyway. Badger and Merc told me that i need to down grade my video card and I trust them that it's probably what I need to do. But I really don't wanna do that cause I dont know what effect that will have on my other games such as; Star Craft 2, Black Ops, Medal of Honor, Crysis 2, and the up coming Battle Field 3. So what I'm gonna do is make a old computer outta spare parts that we have laying around. I can build it in about 1 to 2 months cause I still need to get a power supply and another 512mb or ram. And I'm kinda short on money right now seeing as I just got gypt by turtle beach. So anyway I'll play with you guys soon (:

You don't need to downgrade your video card, you just need to install an older version of the DRIVER for it. If you have a card thats say 1.5GB of video ram at such and such speed etc etc, it will still PERFORM the same the only difference is that the driver won't be the most current.

It's analogous to, say, a windows update...it's not critical at all to always be up to date as soon as updates are available. Your computer will still run the same.
