1.5 CoD Question

I bought what I thought was CoD 1.3 off of Amazon for my son in NC. What he received and loaded was 1.5 CoD and UO (dual pack). Now he can't play with us on 1.3, or is there a way he can downgrade his 1.5 to 1.3?

Yes there is a way. You can download the downgrade patch here

I've used it to downgrade 1.5 but I cant get it to downgrade from 1.3 to 1.1. The instructions are pretty simple.

Because his UO and CoD are in the same folder, there might be some files that have really close names but it should still work. Just make sure to make a backup folder so you don't accidentally delete the wrong files.

That will downgrade your 1.5 to 1.3

It will not affect UO.

I would however suggest installing UO to a different directory so maps/mods don't clash and mess with your cod

So basically,
just copy your call of duty folder once you have it all installed:
Call one "Call of Duty 1.3"
and the other "Call of Duty UO"

You can apply the downgrade patch to the one you called COD 1.3 and then the patch below for UO

Then you can take the UO folder and apply this patch:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/3786971/coduo_patch.exe

This will apply the v1.51 patch to your UO patch if it does not come with it (UO tends to come with v1.41)

If his uo is 1.41 which I'm guessing it is since the regular cod is 1.4, then you'll probably have to use the 1.51 update.
