Lol yeah, I think MsM has broken more than one record with CoD gaming! We will be here regardless if its just one or a hundred or more. I love the games, just seems as though I dont have the time to play like I used to but we are getting slower and slower at work (seasonal) and so that means by end of this month or sooner, Ole Pun will be back in the game pretty regular. I know I will get a butt kicking trying to get the hang of CoD4 but hey, no cherries there hehehe.

Was nice to run into you last evening, playing on blue monkey, just like old times you shooting and me dying!!!
I haven't gotten around to getting MW 4. It really looks like fun but as others have said Ill get a good butt kicking on there.
Something has happened to my ver. 1.3 and it wont load so I guess im staying with 1.5 for now.

...I might just have to show up tonight too! I hopped on for a bit last night, man oh man was I rusty. Still moving a little slow. Also my game crashed probably 3-4 random times when playing the Blue Monkey server, not sure why.

Hey known soldier, I haven't seen you in a while. Btw there is no MW4 the latest is MW3. I know what you mean, Cod 4/MW.

. I'm sure it's a good excuse. I played 1.5 today with Cat Princess and Known Soldier. I'm a bit rusty so forgive my score:

Awww. We are all finding each other! I'm so glad. Now we just need Wolfen, Nor Cal, Vengeance, and T-bone . . . and lots of others lol. I saw these guys playing on 1.5 too. If I see them I'll tell them about Cod 4. I'm sure they already know about Blue Monkey, which so far seems to be the meeting place lol.

1.3 has a server up too.

Hey Fox, I just tried the new 1.3 server---talk about a blast from the past lol. It wasn't too bad. Got to use my kar again.   Unfortunately, the multiple folder thing I asked you about...well I think I did it wrong. Now all I have is 1.3 and all of my 1.5 stuff is gone :cry. So would you mind explaining it to me again lol I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Okay, sounds good cat. Here's how the multiple folders thing works:
1. You start with your Call of Duty 1.3 folder. (Probably located in program files (x86) and called Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition.
2. You copy and paste the Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition file to anywhere. I put mine in my Documents folder.
3. Download the 1.5 patch.
4. Run the 1.5 install application.
5. Set 1.5 to install to your Call of Duty files. (again, probably located in program files (x86) under the name Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition.
6. After you've installed 1.5 you can play on 1.5 as you normally would.
7. To run 1.3 all you have to do is go to where you copy/pasted the 1.3 files and run Codmp.

CoD4 is sweet. Come on over guys!

It's a lot of fun Pun! BigShow was on last night, CAT too, we had fun (on our server). I'm starting to see more traffic on the server, and RCON works fine too. As for playing ability, it's a slow process for me, but I would say after two or three weeks of fairly consistent playing a person can hang in there. I usually finish mid-pack with 10-20 players. If there are less than 10 I can usually come in 2nd or 3rd. It really depends on the players, there are times I come in dead last because the caliber of players is so high. One site I play on when no one is on our server is called "OldGitsHavingFun." They are out of the UK, and it's a fairly clean-mouthed server, no cussing, they don't tolerate it when admins are on. I have learned a lot from playing on that server. There are a lot of tricks to learn on CoD4, that's for sure, but it's fun!

Thanks for that Termi, miss you too brother! I am slowing down pretty well and I assure you, I intend to be on very shortly. It has just been a very blessed work year and just totally covered up man... But hey, no complaints here brother, just hope next year is as good as this one but no anxiety over that at all. One day, one year at time..

Sounds like you are really getting the hang of CoD4! That is great. I played a couple of times on single player and just a few minutes one night on multi player and I can see I will have a long ways to go but hey, I can remember when I first joined SoC years ago, could not get a shot on anybody with an auto hardly lol much less my ole Kar98 hehehe but anyway, it just took a little time training the ole digits, which are more arthritic this year than ever lol.. Anyways, hold it down till I can get there, sounds like you all are doing pretty well.
