MsM 1.5 server

To our guest:

MsM is on the 1.5 net now and we will give it a try to see how it goes.

Our server name is Multiplay:: MsM Test Server

After we get everything set up the way we want it we will switch the server name to: MarnsMarauders

Please drop by and play on the server. It will take some time I suppose to get it populated so any time you can play or get some of you friends to play on our server, we would really appreciate it.

There are already several 1.5 servers. Is a 1.3 server still in the works?

Yes, I hope to get the 1.3 server soon. When I did this order I thought it was going to be a 1.3 server from the advertising and also from what the rep told me earlier but then when I finally got the server ordered, it was 1.5 instead so, the rep then told me that they are trying to work something out with activision and get the 1.3 master server back online so folks like us can rent one.. Dont know when or even if that is a 100% for sure deal but it did sound promising. So, the ad was misleading and actually the 1st rep I spoke with before placing the order mislead me somewhat.. We will just have to see what activision decides to do. Maybe they will give in and start up the 1.3 master server again so we can set up our server over there.

I saw this yesterday and  went to try the new server, (while at work) and as most PB kicks me after a few minutes. I was able to get it to change why it was kicking me but haven't solved the next reason (No Packet Flow), could be the fire wall here. Didn't get to try at home last night, other things to do.
   Anyway the real reason of this post is to say Thanks for your hard work trying to get the old version running again!!!!!
I know trying to work with any thing like this will make your hair gray and need a game to shoot something.

Lol you are right, I think I found some more gray this morning lol hehehehe! And on the packet flow issue could very much be from the firewall settings wherever you are at.. If you can allow access to the game through the firewall then it should stop the packet flow error.

One thing I did notice, is that were having troubles with the punkbuster. I was in the server, and this fella kept getting disconnected. Now, whenever the server was setup. I was having the same troubles. Now, after some research I found a PB file that all you gotta do is, replace it with the one in your CoD file. Here it is, I uploaded it to my Google drive. Just thought I let ya know.

Papi Thanks for the info I will try that tomorrow, I was working on a reply to this post and thought I had sent it and then your post popped up so I hope this wont double post. I havent worked with PB before and found this afternoon that the version I had downloaded doesent have COD listed as a selection of game to put in there. I hope Papi's will be the magic I need.

That's one of the problems that I had encountered Known, Even Balance? Doesn't support this game any more. Luckily nice folks on the internet left a file that still supports it. And of course thanks to Avast scanner as well. I hope it works for you.    

No issues here, 1.5 is working great for me. Just can't lay trips..... :-(

Downloaded the new PB file deleted the old one and replaced with new. Still same results on two servers running PB. Of course this is from work so I hope to have time to try this weekend from home. Working on same issue from two different  PC's is brain overload for me. Thanks for the help.

Hoopla! I will try to install cod 1.5 tomorrow. Hopefully i can catch some other people on there!

    I was able to get PB to work at work friday afternoon. I used your down load, replaced the PB file and then had to add the COD file in the allowed files of the semantic software. Dont know why that last had to be but it worked. I noticed after everything worked that I didnt have to allow PB in multiplayer it was automatic.

Hi All,
     Was able to get the 1.5 and PB working Sat evening at home. Stayed on the server a little while ( very early in the evening) and moved on when I didnt see anyone joining. Will try and meet up there again.

Glad you got your stuff working KS.. Maybe we can all play some together real soon. I have played a few times and planned on being around today but with this cold snap that hit, work called me away. My work totally revolves around the temperature and that can sometimes be a problem when I want some free time but... no complaints, just glad to be able to make a living and of course that comes first as far as things I do other than Church..

Anyway, maybe we can get together soon. I hope to be back in this evening after this job and MAYBE tonight, around 9 or 10, be able to play awhile.. God bless you all. Pun
