Sniper Tags

Uh oh...............back to the drawing board guys lol, we will get something figured out sooner or later.

What about using these symbols for Sniper? [*] or (*) we have got to figure something out.

My vote is a single character. If we could get away with more characters I liked the orginal idea of {SN} after our MsM tag. The problem is that it ends up cutting off the name to 3 or 4 characters. So can we just add a plus sign "+" in our names somewhere?

I don't know if you guys would like it but maybe make up a little bit of new ranks somewhat by just adding like an S before the rank so lets just say I was a sniper it would be like:

{MsM}SSgt.Aegis

But in order so it doesn't seem like I'm a staff sergeant, just make the first S a different color like gray. It would look like this

{MsM}SSgt.Aegis

{MsM}SSgt.Aegis

The olive/black color represents gray, there just isn't the color on the forums. Let me know if you guys like this. For like Shifty for Head Sniper he can do HS or what ever but that gets a little more complicated. If everyone was just S, then people would know they were a sniper. Let me know what you think? Just tryin to help.

We are not going to start changing the tags colors, Marn and I and the other Admin have agreed that we DO NOT want the tags colors to change. Please lets just look at symbols only at this time. We will simply have to come up with a usable key board symbol or combination of them that will work, if we cant come up with a symbol then we will drop the whole idea of putting insignia on the tags. Rad is on the right lines here, Aegis that is nice but it changes tag colors, again, we will not change our Clan tag colors. thanks.

I agree, preserving the "brand" that MsM has established is essential. Keep the tag the way it is.

I was thinking of after the red dot and before the name a simple + would do so it would be like

^1{^9MsM^1}^71Sgt^1.+^9Shifty
that way the period and plus are the same color and it is a single symbol.

Pun has approached me with a symbol that I think will work.We will just have to see where we want to place it to where it looks good with the tags. Rock on Snipers. grab a weapon and Hold on. MsM snipers are on the prowl.

Hey Gen.Marn, that symbol will not work on CoD after all, sorry about that. I thought they had checked it before it was submitted. Back to the drawing board we go............

This is the decision that we have reached concerning the Sniper insignia:

All Snipers are to make a bind and attach numbers.

EXAMPLE:
{MsM}Sniper 1 would be for Shifty
{MsM}Sniper 2 would be for 2nd in command

So forth and so on. Use the same MsM Clan tags colors that we now have. We will make a legend in the SD section with everyone's names and how they correspond to the numbering.

Shifty can submit a list of all his Snipers and their assigned numbers and we will post it.

Also, this can be set up as a bind and used only when we have a Scrimmage and you can set up a bind for your normal tags so that after and before a Scrimmage it is easy to change out your tags. The Sniper numbering system will be for scrimmages ONLY. The normal MsM tags will be worn at all other times. Thanks

Hey can I make a suggestion. I thought maybe have all the tags the same, but change the color of the {} to like blue or something. I think it would be easy for our members to know that it was the sniper program guys and nobody would have to make binds with numbers. I hope you consider this idea.

Sorry Odin, we are NOT going to change the tag colors in anyway what so ever. They are some of the best looking tags around and they were voted in. The Admin have agreed to NOT make any changes to the colors.
